Hoofy and Boo report that eBay filed a lawsuit against the website Craigslist last week arguing that it was unfairly dominating the online industry. Craigslist was founded in 1995 by Craig Newmark and is now the 12th most visited site on the internet. Ebay purchased a 28% stake in Craigslist back in 2004 when Craigslist had 1 billion page views a month, and it now has over 9 billion page views a month now. Craigslist handles 30 million new classifieds a month and only maintains 25 full-time employees. www.minyanville.com
